Team 7 are recovered by I.O. and begin to exhibit special powers and abilities from the strange biological agent they were exposed to; Some of them die while some of them thrive and Craven sends the surviving members of the team back into action with their new abilities.

Some of the members of Team 7 have been driven mad by their powers. This has led some of the team to kill others as well as themselves. Miles Craven tries to convince the surviving team members that the mission where they were exposed to the Gen-Factor (which gave them their powers) was not intentional. But one of the abilities Grifter obtained was telepathy and he knows Craven is lying.

The team is sent back into the field to take down a dictator. One of Team 7’s members, Johnson, uses his powers to control the dictator and force him to kill his people and then himself. When Grifter sees this, he kills Johnson, fearing what Team 7 has become.
